Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: April 23, 2026

This Policy supplements the Terms of Service and details the prohibited uses of NYLOS. Violating it results in immediate suspension or termination of the account without refund, and may lead to reports to authorities when applicable.

1. Prohibited content

You may not use NYLOS to create, upload, process, store, or publish content that:

• Is illegal in the relevant jurisdictions (including Delaware, United States, where we operate).
• Exploits or sexualizes minors (CSAM). This is an absolute prohibition. We will report any suspicion to NCMEC and the corresponding authorities.
• Generates sexually explicit content or pornography.
• Depicts graphic violence, torture, mutilation, or glorifies harm to people or animals.
• Incites hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, or any protected characteristic.
• Incites terrorism, violent extremism, or physical harm.
• Creates non-consensual deepfakes of real people — including public figures, identifiable persons, ex-partners, celebrities, politicians, and minors. If you generate the image of a real person you need their explicit consent or valid rights.
• Impersonates identities, creates fake profiles, or forges official documents, currency, seals, or signatures.
• Infringes copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or rights of publicity of third parties.
• Contains harmful disinformation, especially in electoral, health, or financial contexts where it may cause real harm.
• Promotes illegal activities: sale of illicit drugs, prohibited weapons, fraud, money laundering, piracy.
• Violates the privacy of individuals (doxxing, personal data without consent, unauthorized surveillance).

2. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

• use NYLOS to circumvent or attempt to circumvent technical limits, rate limits, or the service's security mechanisms.
• use NYLOS for reverse engineering, mass scraping, or unauthorized automation (bots, scripts) of the service beyond the documented API.
• resell, sublicense, redistribute, or resell access to NYLOS without express written authorization.
• share account credentials with third parties. Each human user must have their own account.
• use the service to create competing tools, products, or services.
• upload malware, viruses, malicious code, or any content that may harm our systems or those of other users.
• carry out denial-of-service attacks, intentional malicious prompt injection, or any other action that affects the availability of the service.
• attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that do not belong to you.

3. Responsible AI use

AI tools are powerful but imperfect. By using NYLOS, you agree to:

• review generated content before publishing it commercially. Outputs may contain errors, biases, or unwanted elements.
• label synthetic content when required by the jurisdiction (for example, certain California laws, EU AI Act).
• not use outputs to manipulate or deceive consumers, voters, or any audience.
• respect third-party rights: even if you generate an image with AI, if it sufficiently resembles a trademark, person, or protected work, there may be legal claims. That responsibility is yours.

4. Consequences of a violation

If we detect violations, we may:

• Issue a warning.
• Temporarily suspend access to the service.
• Permanently terminate your account without a refund of unused credits.
• Report to competent authorities when legally required (especially CSAM).
• Take legal action to recover damages.

The severity of the response depends on the gravity of the violation. Serious offenses (CSAM, terrorism, major fraud) result in immediate termination + a report without prior warning.

5. Report abuse

If you find content or behavior that violates this Policy, report it to abuse@nylos.io. Include evidence (screenshots, URLs, generation IDs if applicable). Reports are confidential.

6. Changes

This Policy may be updated to reflect new risks, regulations, or capabilities. Material changes will be notified 15 days in advance.
